Healing. Identity. Wellbeing.
Helping individuals and communities across Uganda discover a fuller life.

Vita Plena Uganda is a trauma-informed, faith-sensitive initiative equipping individuals, leaders, and institutions with practical tools for healing, identity restoration, and holistic wellbeing.

In official collaboration with 360Life International, we contextualize globally proven trauma-informed materials for Uganda’s churches, schools, prisons, refugee settings, NGOs, and communities.

Vita Plena Uganda exists to help people understand the impact of trauma, rediscover their God-given identity, and build healthier lives, relationships, and communities.

Across Uganda, many people are living with the hidden effects of poverty, violence, displacement, shame, rejection, family breakdown, and painful life experiences. These wounds often shape behaviour, relationships, learning, and mental health in ways that are misunderstood.

We believe people are shaped by their experiences — but not defined by them.

That is why we bring practical, compassionate, trauma-informed training and healing-centered programs to those who need it most.

Our Work Matters

Everyone is born with a brain, yet no two people think, respond, relate, or cope in the same way. Our life experiences shape how we see ourselves, how we respond to others, and how we make decisions.

In Uganda, the effects of trauma can be seen in many contexts:

  • Young people in urban slums and rural communities
  • Families affected by conflict, neglect, and gender-based violence
  • Teachers struggling to support distressed learners
  • Prison staff and inmates facing deep emotional and mental strain
  • Refugees and host communities living with loss, transition, and survival pressure
  • Pastors, NGO workers, and community leaders supporting people in pain without enough tools

Too often, people judge harmful behaviour only on the surface. But behind many struggles are hidden wounds, survival responses, shame, and unmet emotional needs.

Vita Plena Uganda helps individuals and institutions respond differently — with understanding, dignity, wisdom, and hope.

Our Vision

Lives transformed through healing, identity, and wellbeing across Uganda.

Our Mission

To educate, equip, and empower individuals and communities to discover their God-given identity and fullness of life (uzima) through trauma-informed healing, compassionate service, and holistic wellbeing.

What We Do

We deliver practical, trauma-informed programs that help people:

Our work is especially relevant for:

  • Churches and faith communities
